Dhan Yoga

If Mars, Saturn and Jupiter together occupy the 5th house, native could be a multi-millionaire. If Mercury, Jupiter and Venus are conjunct in quadrant, it brings in strong possibilities of wealth. If Venus is the Ascendant lord and is placed in 2nd house with Mercury in 11th house and Jupiter in Kendra, natives gets unexpected wealth. The combinations of 2nd, 5th, 9th, and 11th houses are considered highly positive when it comes to luck in wealth and finance. Conjunction, exchange, aspect, and position of these with respect to each other form a Dhana Yoga. Here are few examples to clarify.

If the lord of 2nd, 5th, 9th, or 11th is positioned or aspects any of these houses mentioned.

If any of the two lords of 2nd 5th, 9th, or 11th house are conjunct in an auspicious house.

If any of the two lords of 2nd 5th, 9th, or 11th house exchange signs with each other.


Aarisht Yoga / Balarishta Yoga

This combination of planets brings negative results and is also termed as a Dosha. It signifies sorrow, suffering and stress. It forms when Moon occupies 6th, 8th or 12th house from ascendant and is also under some malefic influence This affects the longevity of the person. Such person struggles to remember things. Some negativity and mental distress persists for the native. Moon is a planet associated with mind, which gets affected under the impact of this Yoga.

Balarishta or Aarishta Yoga also forms when Moon, Mars, Saturn and Sun are placed in Kendra houses in a horoscope. If weak Moon occupies Ascendant and a malefic planet is placed on either side of Moon, it also forms Aarishta Yoga.

Some more combinations of aarisht yoga, if the moon, mars, Saturn and the sun are placed in the Kendra house in chart. If Sun, Mars and Saturn together occupy the fifth house in the chart, it also forms aarisht yoga. Another combination is when Sun and Moon are conjunct Rahu in Cancer or Leo and at the same time, Ascendant is also being aspected by Mars and Saturn.


Raj Yoga

There are several combinations that from Rajyoga in chart.

When there is a combination among the lords of Kendra house and Trikon houses, it is called a Raj Yoga. For example, if the lord of 9th house occupies your 10th house in the chart, it will form a Raj Yoga. In fact, this is one of the strongest combinations of Raj Yoga. The most powerful house in Kendra is the 10th house and in Trikon, 9th house is the strongest. These two houses deal with the most important aspects of our life. 10th house relates to profession and karma, while 9th house relates to luck and spirituality. When a Raj Yoga occurs in the horoscope, the native enjoys prosperity and good health. He or she is likely to earn a lot of name and fame. Natives with Raj Yoga rarely face issues in wealth and property matters. These natives tend to be blessed with own home.

A conjunction of the lords of 1st, 5th and 9th house also forms a Raj Yoga and affords the native with a lot of fame in society. Such a native enjoys a powerful position. He or she would likely make a mark in a reputed field such as science.

When Venus is in Taurus in Ascendant and at the same time, lord of 9th and 10th house are conjunct with the lord of 5th house in either Kendra or Trine, it forms a strong Raj Yoga too. Raj Yoga often signifies name, fame, prosperity, profits, and respect.


Exchange Yoga

An Exchange Yoga forms when two planets either sit in each other’s signs or aspect each other. The result of this Yoga largely depends upon the strength of the planets involved, their lordships and whether they are placed in a positive house or not. This Yoga increases the power of the planets involved. It leads to better wealth opportunities good fortune, fame and positivity in life. However, in case of planets being malefic or placed in negative house, the results can be negative too.

There are three types of exchange yoga:

  1. Maha Exchange Yoga

When there is an exchange between lord of any houses other than 3rd, 6th, 8th, and 12th houses, it is called Maha Exchange Yoga. Kendra and trine houses are major progressive houses and become stronger if a positive exchange takes place leading to more wealth, name fame and progress in life.

  1. Dainya Exchange Yoga

This Yoga forms when there is an exchange between lord of Kendra or trine houses with 6th, 8th or 12th house lords. This Yoga is relatively negative as native has an instable life and has to struggle a lot. Some health issues and financial problems persist too.

  1. Kahala Exchange yoga

When the lord of 3rd house forms an exchange with lord of any other house, it forms a Kahala Exchange yoga. Native with this yoga has the courage and willpower needed to make efforts to rise in life. He or she is a self-made individual. This Yoga works well for people involved in fields such as planning, strategy, completion, scheming etc.


Special Yogas

Listed below are some more yogas under DARES that have special combinations that bear special results.

  1. Mahapurush Yoga

When any planet out of Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn is to be found in Kendra house in an exalted position or in own sign, it forms Panch Mahapurush yoga. This is considered an auspicious combination in Vedic Astrology. The yoga formed by Mars is called Ruchika Yoga. Jupiter forms Hansa Yoga, Venus forms Malaya Yoga, Mercury forms Bhadra Yoga, and Saturn forms Sasha Yoga. The stronger the planets, better would be the results. Here is brief overview of the five yogas.

Ruchak Yoga: When Mars is placed in Aries, Scorpio or Capricorn in Kendra or trine houses from Ascendant or natal moon, it forms a Ruchika Yoga. Native is very courageous, strong, witty, popular, successful and victorious.

Bhadra yoga: When Mercury is placed in Gemini or Virgo in Kendra or trine houses from Ascendant or natal moon, it forms a Bhadra yoga. Native is highly intellectual, wise, gentle, generous, sharp-minded, and a quick learner endowed with strong memory and communication skills.

Hansa yoga: When Jupiter is placed in Sagittarius, Pisces or Cancer in Kendra or trine houses from Ascendant or natal moon, it forms a Hansa yoga. Native becomes knowledgeable, educated, learned, prosperous, helping, spiritually inclined and fond of religious books.

Malavya yoga: When Venus is placed in Taurus, Libra or Pisces in Kendra or trine houses from Ascendant or natal moon, it forms a Malavya yoga. Native with this yoga is physically attractive, graceful, charming and artistically inclined. He or she may be fond of music, arts, jewelry, beauty, decorations, fashionable clothing, accessories, fragrances, luxuries and company of women.

Sasha yoga: When Saturn is placed in Capricorn, Aquarius or Libra in Kendra or trine houses from Ascendant or natal moon, it forms a Sasha yoga. This combination engenders a strong politician. Such natives indulge in social work. They have strong judgment, leadership qualities, and are strongly attached to their native land. They live a happy life and also become owner of a property.

  1. Mahabhagya Yoga

Mahabhagya yoga involves three of the most important planets, the lord of ascendant, Sun and Moon. These three represent body, soul and mind respectively this their placement has a strong influence on our life. The rules of Mahabhagya yoga differ for male and female natives.

Male natives: When ascendant lord, Sun and Moon are placed in odd signs, i.e., (Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius) and the native is born during day time, it forms a strong Mahabhagya yoga for male natives.

Female natives: When ascendant lord, Sun and Moon are placed in even signs, i.e., (Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces) and the native is born during night time, it forms a strong Mahabhagya yoga for female natives.

  1. Neech bhang yoga

When a planet is debilitated and the debilitation gets nullified due to some combination, it is called Neech Bhang yoga. Now there are certain conditions that should be met to form the yoga.

When the sign occupies both the exalted and debilitated planet, the negative effect neutralizes. For example, when Jupiter and Mars are together in Cancer, it cancels the debilitation of Mars since another planet is in its exalted position.

When the lord of the sign where a debilitated planet is positioned is itself placed in Kendra house from Moon or Ascendant.

When the lord of the sign where a debilitated planet is positioned is exalted in Kendra house from Moon or Ascendant.

When the sign where a debilitated planet is placed is under the aspect of its lord.

When the debilitated planet is exalted in D-9 chart, i.e., Navamsha chart.

If the debilitation nullifies in 6th, 8th and 12th house, then the Neech Bhang Raj Yoga is not that strong since these houses are malefic. When in positive houses, this yoga gives positive returns to the native, provided the native makes serious efforts. It can turn rags to riches, if rest of the chart supports as well. Native becomes wealthy, prosperous, and a successful leader.

  1. Veepreet Raj Yoga

6th, 8th and 12th house are called evil houses in Vedic Astrology. Along with the lord of these houses, the planets placed in these house also give inauspicious results. But when there is a combination between 6th, 8th and 12th lords and houses themselves, it forms a Veepreet Raj Yoga which deems positive results. If the lord of these houses together occupy 6th, 8th or 12th house, the native becomes wealthy, rich, and famous. This yoga forms in three ways.

Harsh Yoga: When the lord of 6th house is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th house in a horoscope, it forms Harsh Yoga. If this yoga exists in your birth chart, you would be a strong individual. The presence of this yoga gives victory over opposition. Such a native is blessed with a supportive and loving family, friends, life partner and children. Saral Yoga: When the lord of 8th house is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th house in a horoscope, it forms Saral Yoga.
