Vedic process of Lakshmi Puja on Diwali

The “Dharma Trikona” - the most important triangular houses of your horoscope, namely – 1st, 5th and 9th house are activated by worshipping Goddess Lakshmi with Vedic procedure during muhurtha period on Diwali.

Vedic Ritual has the power to unlock the door of luck, money and wealth. You too can strengthen the significance of these Trinal houses of wealth through the worship of divine Goddess Ashta Lakshmi with proper Vedic procedures this Diwali.

The inherent characteristic of Goddess Lakshmi is not to stay in one place for a long time, but in the rising time of fixed zodiac sign, the Goddess will be constant in one place. On 27th October 2019 the fixed zodiac sign Taurus will be rising in the evening which will be the best time to perform the worship.

Vedic Ritual to perform during Lakshmi Puja

  • First, clean the place of worship and put together the statues of Lakshmi & Ganesha together. You can decorate your house with flowers and the leaves of Mango, and Ashoka, if possible.
  • Start by paying regards to Ganesha before goddess Lakshmi so that you get the wisdom to accumulate wealth.
  • Light eight diyas ( earthen lamps) or candles for the eighth different forms of Ashta Lakshmi in front of the statues. The 8 diyas denote eighth different forms of wealth – material wealth, money, food, status in society, children, courage, victory, and knowledge.
  • Offer coconut, sweets, uncooked rice and incense to appease goddess Lakshmi.
  • Sit with a straight back and chant the Vedic Mantra of Goddess Lakshmi at least 11 times, as is being given above.
  • Play & recite Lakshmi Aarti to conclude your Diwali Puja.
