  • The first most important step for Lakshmi Puja is to clean the area which is selected for puja. We are inviting Goddess Lakshmi to our house, so the temple area should have good flow of energy for Diwali puja.
  • The direction of the puja area should be selected on the east wall of your house.  The sun rises in the east and we attain maximum energy in the east direction while worshipping. Set up the puja area in the north-east direction of the home.
  • Keep the idol of Lord Ganesha on the left of the idol of Goddess Lakshmi. The idols placed in the puja should face east direction to enhance the energy of the puja rituals. Sit facing the north-east direction while performing the puja.
  • Chant the Mantra and Aarti of Goddess Lakshmi

This is done for gaining the blessings of Goddess and concluding the Diwali puja for abundance of wealth and prosperity.
