1. Kind of investment suitable
- Sale and conventional investments like savings, govt. securities and bonds : Not very beneficial due to liquidity issues and a tendency towards debts.
- Real estate : Not suitable due to lack of stable thought and vision on the same.
- Equity, stock market and speculation : Quite suitable as long as you do not use outside fund or use debt to carry out speculation. Windfall gains are possible from such source if managed correctly.
- Debt and giving loans : Beneficial for you.
- Investment in own business : Beneficial as long as the funds are your own
2. Whether speculation suitable
In your case speculation is a fine line that can be favorable and loss making at the same time. You can use a simple thumb rule to judge whether you can go ahead or not. For all funds that belong to you and are not shared or borrowed you can indulge in speculative activity.

Some good periods for returns from investment would run from August 2003 . The breakup of period are as follows :
- Current period to end July 2003 : Mostly indifferent . You could look at disposing of certain stock market and real estate investment if you desire.
- End July 2003 to end September 2003 : A very erratic period for real estate matters. There would be losses and wrong investment. Even sale should be avoided in real estate as it could yield loss. Liabilities are likely to rise during this time.
- October 2003 to December 2003 : Favorable period for investment in property. Further good returns from bond , liquid inflow of money is possible.
- January 2004 to April 2004 : Avoid investment .
- May 2004 to July 2004 : Quite favorable for safe investments. Speculation should be totally avoided. This is one time good for investing in your own business.
- August 2004 to November 2004 : Very favorable to cash investment. This time is very beneficial for gains and if you are holding properties or stocks for gains or any other sort of investment for gains then this period is good to liquidate the same. Minor speculation and investment in stocks and share during this time would be useful too.
- December 2004 to March 2005 : Avoid any financial commitment and activity during this time. Period of reversals and setbacks. Be extra cautious.
- April 2005 to May 2005 : Beneficial period for gains and liquidation. Avoid new investment even though you may find them tempting during this time.
